True, but uptime can still be months, and the SD issue can ba managed with
scheduled replacement cycles - in my case, every 6 months.  For a single BBS on
a Pi, 12 month maintenance cycles is feasible (I run 2 BBSs and other stuff,
hence the shorter replacement cycle - in fact, the card will last around 12
months on my setup).

Still a lot better uptime than I ever managed under DOS.  Only OS/2 came close
back in the day. :)
