 You missed the answer. It has everything to do with Roman

 When Jesus said, "I was hungry and you gave me to eat" he did
 not leave an out for ethanol.

 This was my response to him.

 If you ask that it appears you don't know a lot about the
 Catholic Church's positions on such issues.

 Maybe 12 or 15 years ago I attended a diocesesian conference on
 social issues. The keynote speaker was the secretary of the US
 Conference of Catholic Bishops. He started by admitting his job
 was hard to explain. He told us, his mother had a very simple
 explanation for what he did. He explained, "She says, if anyone
 anywhere in the world is hungry, it's my fault."

 That has been my standard for the Catholic position ever since.
