<chuckle> that's how it's done, just check Outbound Echomail sub-dir to
determine the File Name for each link:

Snipped from EchoOut.Bat after Scan:

=== Cut ===
Rem 8:8/2 Bob Hoffman (FamilyNet)
Call ftnmove.bat 80D8A96B.* e:\fmlynet\out
=== Cut ===

FTNMove.Bat (calls itself as well):

=== Cut ===
{at}Echo OFF
Rem %1 = Wildcard Spec for DO command (i.e. abcdefgh.* )
Rem or Actual File Name on recursion
Rem %2 = Destination Path (i.e. c:\subdir )
Rem %3 = "x" (anything, no quotes) for recursive routines

If %3.==. goto main
If not exist %1 goto exit
If exist %2\%1 goto exit
Call pktfix.bat %1
Copy %1 %2 >nul
If not exist %2\%1 goto exit
imsema %1 >nul
Echo  %1 fixed, copied to %2 & z-trunc'd ...
Goto exit

:main
If %2.==. goto exit
If not exist %1 goto exit
For %%f in (%1) do call ftnmove.bat %%f %2 m

:exit
=== Cut ===

Works for me ... pktfix.bat patches bad/Y2k dates using pktdate.exe; imsema
creates zero-length files (effectively truncates an existing file to null).
