Subject: Display int

 GT> I want to display a report on screen in the order I require.

 It's usually easier to reply helpfully with a code snippet .. just quoting
the for() conditions and the offending line.

 I can only assume there's a problem with how you're displaying the data.
The syntax I would use for that is:

 GT> Which goes like: Surname Initial Category
 GT> Position

printf("%s\i%c\i%s\i%d\n",rec->name,rec->init,rec->cat,rec->pos);

where rec is a truct containing:

 char name[];
 char init;
 char cat[];
 int pos;

.... maybe you have a problem with the last %d??
