Sounds like a big project? What is it exactly anyway?

Well, it's never happened to me before in TD but sometimes in FSDB (Full
Screen Debugger) it would skip maybe a few lines of code/function call that
would probably cause a gpf because of memory segmentation pecularities.
Such an occurance would be for example, set a descriptors limit length to
say, -1, (0xffffffffffh/111111111b) therefore allowing your program access
to lower memory such as memory mapped devices (VGA, printer), this ofcourse
cannot occur while in a debugger as it would surely create hassles
therefore some debuggers are smart enough to avoid such caveats.
